About 20 km south of Collingwood, 2 km east of Singhampton at #1651 County Road 124 (was Hwy 24), overlooking Devils Glen
DESCRIPTION
Avalon Clearview is on 13 acres with rolling meadows, trees, streams and a large pond. We overlook the Devils
Glen Provincial Park on the Mad River Valley section of the Niagara Escarpment. The views are beautiful. The Bruce
Trail crosses the property and the closest ski club and golf club are 1 minute away. There are many ski resorts and
golf courses within a twenty minute drive. The area is also wonderful for cycling, fall colours, country fairs, antiquing,
artist studios and art tours.

For The Birder
Enormous variety of Ontario country birds are attracted to our property - the pond, mixed bush of deciduous and
evergreen trees, meadows and the upcurrents over the valley. We have a spotting scope set up in the dining room
and have seen over twenty species on our property alone.
For The Gardener
Gardens currently under development. Guests are encouraged to offer ideas and can also pitch-in if they want to.
Trail Information
The Bruce Trail (Niagara Falls to Tobermory/Bruce Penninsula and part of the Trans-Canada Trail crosses our
property at km 24.6 of the Blue Mountain section. Within minutes are also several side trails: Willis, Keyhole,
Nottawasaga, Mad River, Singhampton, Singhampton Caves, Standing Rock, Pretty River, Osler and Petun.
The Ganaraska Trail (Glen Huron to Orillia to Port Hope) begins about 4 km from here.
