LOCATION

South Island, New Zealand

DESCRIPTION

We are situated on the hills, only 3.65 kms from Wyndham, giving a panoramic view of the Southland Plains and the Mountains beyond.

Our farm is mainly Sheep (2,400) with a few cattle and four working dogs, free range hens and two friendly house cats.

Children love to help feed the farm animals especially in the September – October months. Shearing of the sheep occurs six times year. We also have a small sheep show which all tourists young and old enjoy.

A tour of the farm is included in the bed and breakfast tariff.

Our farm is situated only five minutes away from three famous brown trout rivers, the Mataura, Wyndham, and Mimihau. These are excellent dry-fly rivers.
